Veterinary Technician: Emily has been a member of the PetSound staff since January 2009. She is a Fuquay-Varina native, currently attending North Carolina State University in pursuit of her Bachelor’s degree in animal science with a concentration in business administration. Emily is the proud owner of her 3 year old Beagle named Lily, whom she rescued from the side of the road.

Emily has always enjoyed being around the animals that she had growing up, including horses, goats, chickens, lizards and bunnies. Her long term goals are to graduate and own a farm where she can run a boarding stable business for horses. Emily enjoys riding horses and spending time with her family and friends.

   
 
   


Lead Receptionist: Caroline began working with PetSound in April 2008. Caroline is our lead receptionist and has over 12 years experience in the veterinary care field. She currently lives in Raleigh with her husband and enjoys taking her two dogs Athenna and Sonni to the park. She adopted her newest dog, Sonni a year ago from a rescue group and has two cats named Shi-Bi and Onyx. Some of her hobbies are lying by the pool, walking on the beach and pet sitting. Caroline’s long term goals are to one day become an office manager for an animal hospital.

   
 
   


Veterinary Technician: Courtney has been a valued member of PetSound since the fall of 2006. She has over 10 years of experience in animal care. Courtney is a Cary native and currently lives with her son Lane and her fiancé Bradley in Lillington. She takes pride in rescuing Pit Bull Terriers from euthanasia in various shelters of NC. Courtney also owns 8 horses, 8 dogs and 1 cat. On her days off she enjoys playing with her son, riding horses, fishing with her dogs and trail riding through the mountains. She is pictured here with her gray pit bull, Tater and her brown chihuahua, Coltrain.

   
 
   


Receptionist: Peggy joined PetSound in August of 2010. Peggy has over 15 years experience as a veterinary receptionist. She moved to North Carolina in 2005 from Florida. She lives in Cary with her Bassett Hound Dani and a PetSound rescue dog named Dolly. She has 2 sons; Michael who lives in Cary and Bryan who is located in Virginia Beach. Peggy also has twin grandsons, Evan and Daniel. Some of her hobbies include spending time with her family, playing the piano, singing in her church choir, and taking Dani and Dolly on walks around her neighborhood.

Veterinary Technician: Erin began working with the PetSound crew in August of 2010. She has been working in the veterinary field since she was 17. Erin grew up in a military family so she is technically from various states, but she considers herself based out of the D.C. area. She came to Mebane, North Carolina with her family in 2005 and attended North Carolina State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in biology. She currently lives in Raleigh with her 7 year old Dachshund, Jake and a domestic short hair cat named Bacardi. She is fostering Jack (pictured with her); a rescue dog PetSound has been working on since December of 2010. Erin’s hobbies include taking Jake and Jack for walks around Lake Johnson, playing Nintendo Wii, watching movies on NetFlix and reading sci-fi novels.
